The New Paltz Bike Swap Saturday May 5th

The New Paltz Bike Swap is being held on Saturday May 5th at the New Paltz Middle School in New Paltz, NY. The Bike Swap is a community event where you can buy, sell and trade bikes, bike parts and anything bike related. You can turn your old bikes or bike parts into cash or buy bikes and cycling stuff at amazing prices. And it's a great place to meet the local cycling community. And it's a lot of fun.

This is our 5th year and we expect several hundred attendees and dozens of vendors. There will be bikes, bike parts, apparel and so more on sale. Last year we nearly 100 bikes including mountain, road, vintage, fixies, BMX, kids and cruisers. it's a fun event that is free to everyone and open to the public.

The Bike Swap is a fund raiser for the Fats in the Cats Bike Club which is a bike club supports cycling in the Hudson Valley. We build and maintain mountain bike trails, work with land managers to keep trails open, lobby for cycling friendly legislation, and support the local bike culture of the region. The club has been around since 1994 making the world better through cycling (www.fatsinthecats.com).

The bike club asks for 20% of items sold as a donation so please mark your items accordingly.

Vendor check in starts at 9 AM. The swap is open from 10 to 2 PM. If you have a lot of items please contact me ahead of time to arrange advance item check in.
