This theft show just how pointless it is to protect valuables with guards without guns.

Yup, the security in that museum is a complete joke. I live <20minutes away and have been there a few times. I not going into the state of the museum, which sucks - but anyone with a rabid dog and a hard fist could probably get away with a lot of valuables.

and there's about 4-5 originals. Munch painted several of his paintings multiple times. There's one still hanging in our national gallery.

Munch also had a weird habit of leaving his paintings outside for about 2years in the rain, mud, snow and sunshine - he hated anything that looked "new". They were also covered with bird****, candle-spill and other stuff. He called it the horse-cure for some reason.
