i just looked at the front page for the 1st time in a while...it looks good, but the thumbnails of bikes are horribly moired...make the thumbnail image properly resized for the chosen dimensions.

Yeah I have to apologize to everyone about some of the problems that have come with this upgrade. There are a lot of problems related to thumbnails that are going to need to be addressed.
Like the fact that they are bigger than queen latifah after a night at the treasure island buffet?
