Just because I am not a very good welder doesn't mean if I spend 3 hours welding your ghetto ass shit. That you don't have to at least buy me lunch.

Clutch is coming!
But they are playing in a dirt bowl, over an hour away. Even worse, they are opening for SOAD and Incubus. I saw that combo in 2000, on the SnoCore tour. Nope. No thanks.

Yep, either trying to sell as is or taking off a lot of the goodies and trading it in. With the future staring me in the face, a mid-sized gas truck doesn't fit the bill like it used to. Instead of spending more time and money trying to make it work, it may just be worth admitting that it's not the right fit and hitting the reset button.

Bro-doze in naow?

Boy howdy did someone screw up here at work. Spent the last 6 months working a project based on the wrong information. Luckily I am not the one who fucked it up, I am the one who gets to fix it though. This one is going to cost a fair chunk of change and time.

They just put in a Bloomberg terminal 20ft from my desk. I haven't been this excited in years. Manager's response was "oh shit. We'll never get him back to his desk". Bwahahahahahaha!

Hit 69.5 mph on Cranmer, not a soul in sight. Called it before noon—getting grabby and slushy. Depending on timing relative to future storms today may have been my last on skis for the season.

You've got fully cambered skis, right? Kinda carvy? Völkls or some dang thing?

I can do without Incubus but SOAD puts on a good show, who wouldn't want to see Chop Suey live? Or this?

he has fully rockered skis, and I'm calling for a calibration of the good doctor's speedometer.
Yup, Volkl Mantra 2015-2016. No camber, rocker at both tips.

It felt fast, and very fun. Little undulations in the terrain become much more exciting at speed.

Yerp. My sister is moving from Santa Cruz to Charleston and we are driving from the former to the latter in her Prius, which I really like.

We have been finding excellent food and beer all along the way.
you flying back north from charleston? if driving, lots of good places to stop and ride along the way!

honestly i don’t understand why people are attracted to that place...
