Figured I'd probably get the best response by posting this in here. I'm not a BMX or Dirt Jumper. I commute to and from work on my bike. The tires I have on right now are quickly dying and I'm going to be needing some replacements soon. I'm looking for something that I can ride on the sidewalks/street to and from work that has low rolling resistance, but that will handle hard pack and gravel trails should I want to have some fun on the weekends. I've whittled my way through a big list of tires and came down to the Kenda K-Rad and Maxxis Holy Roller. The Holy Roller seems to get a lot of love, but the Kenda is a little cheaper. Which is the better tire? I ride rain or shine so I'm really keen to hear about how they perform in the rain/when conditions are wet if anyone has that experience.
