Are these any good?
I need a road bike- doesn't have to be a good one, but the used market is oddly retarded in my area where everything is either an overpriced 10 speed, a ridiculous fixed gear, or $1000 plus. I'm looking to spend less than 1000 and more then 500, which brings me to the Tommaso lineup. Randall Scott has a bunch of these for not too much money in a variety of builds.
I don't need anything too serious, since this is my first road bike, but I'd like to compete in a few triathlons so I don't want friction shifters and square wheels.
