First day of real unemployment has started. Already booked some good meetings. Gotta find a good job this time around but until then I will enjoy my time off to the fullest.

Wife kicked me hard last night, woke me up mid buffalo snort. Damn I was snoring loud, deserved that kick (she was wearing earplugs) went back to sleep on my stomach which quiets the angry buffalo. So looking forward to another day on the short bus...well not really

Hey. If there is a such thing as a work bong shed, I'm working in it. Hi tech room, nice view of the shithole city, empty crapper across the hall, nap room if I feel so inclined, free coffee all day in the kitchen, I have this meeting room all to myself with just enough work to keep me busy today.

Scooting out after lunch so I can continue prepping for Moab which shall be my first time on the bike this year. I predict much hurt in my future.

Holy moly is it windy. About lost the door on the work truck going through "security". I may have to venture into the terminal for moar coffeez.
Similarly super windy up here. I checked the direction and supposedly it’ll be a tailwind for my morning commute. If it isn’t I’m turning tail and calling an Uber. :D

Getting ready for the April snow-pocalypse here too.
Lucky. We're looking at 8 inches of snow covered with freezing rain. Die winter, DIE!
I've got $5 that says school buses will be cancelled tomorrow.

cooked medium-rare steaks at home last night for my 3-years old.
drank some wine and cognac in the process... woke up with a little hangover and took the kiddo to kindergarten in the morning. while riding in the car, he said "i love red steaks daddy".
dad achievement, unlocked.

Two weeks out from heading to Fruita for us.

What trails are on the agenda?

Hoping to do Navajo Rocks, Slickrock, and Hymasa/Capt. Ahab. Going with wife's friend and I've never ridden with her hubby before, but I know he's on a hardtail so we'll see how much of a beating he can take.

Plans for riding to work were thwarted by my bag with my work IDs, work and bike rack keys, and my long-expired EpiPen going missing. Looked everywhere for it and caved in and hailed an Uber instead.

As the Uber driver pulled into campus my wife texted: Yuna had spirited away the bag as one of her treasures and stuck it in her shoe cubby... Good thing she's cute to make up for these shenanigans.

Does he actually ride, or are you about to be presented with someone riding a Walmart bike?

I could maybe go for Navajo and Slickrock on a hardtail if forced to, Hymasa/Ahab I wouldn't be too happy if it was a fixed seatpost and 100mm fork.

edit: It's Outerbike this weekend in Moab in case you didn't know. It wasn't too bad when we were there in Oct, but check their posted shuttled ride locations so you can avoid them.

Video position open with DPS which would be right up my alley & in my wheelhouse but that commute would be turrrrrbull. Would prolly bus it.

Awww FML, from Easter Jeep Safari to Outerbike. Hope the crowds aren't too bad.

I think he actually rides, though not sure if he's a North Table Mountain or Dakota Ridge kinda guy...

Hey monkies, the sun is out. I'm thinking about getting back into product photography which is how I made my hundreds in the 90s. Anyone remember webvan? I did bread and color-corrected packaged goods on a corel program. Anyhow my annual spring money toss ended up being an iconasys 360 led lumi pad set up and a canon eos 7d mkII. Initial results are not that good but I can produce a functional 24 frame 360 in about 10 minutes.

Here. Tired. Happy hour after work today. Study is going much faster as it's getting into the stuff I do every day. More material covered in the last two days than I covered in the last three weeks.

Brain Dr. wants to make some changes because my stress levels are higher and those cause my seizures. Hopefully this works out to my benefit, but she's been great to date, so I'm going with it. I did discover that my primary drug is a mood suppressant, which explains my 'fuck it' mentality since I was first diagnosed. Not just me actually mellowing out, but drug assisted.

May have hit the bong shed a bit too hard last evening... watched "Justice League" and couldn't make heads nor tails of that incomprehensible pile-of-shit film. Or maybe it was just me... :D

Gonna rally to do some crack-of-noon skiing soon.

At a hotel in in Kanab. Nice change after five days in the camper. So they built great singletrack in Kanab...but it is only 1.5 miles long. Insert droopy trombone sounds here. Oh well, we will be riding Gooseberry tomorrow.
Did a 10 mile out and back in Buckskin Gulch/Paris canyon. Sublime...google it!
