We (San Diego Mountain Biking Association) need you to be behind the scenes at the San Diego Tour de Fat! Working the event is even more fun than just participating and we have fun shifts for all ages!
This is what we ask of you:
Come dressed in a costume & Bring a Bike
Arrive at 9am to get your orientation and get checked in
Bring valid ID if 21+
HAVE FUN & PROMOTE FUN ON BIKES!
Youll get some fun schwag from our friends at New Belgium Brewing Company and, if over 21 with your valid ID, youll get (beer) TOKENS of our AFFECTION!!
Volunteers come back and tell us every year how theyll be back for more and they are. Last year we had a new location, GOLDEN HILL PARK (aka South Park) and it is PERFECT for bikes, families, singles, fun and good times. After working the last 3, #4 is going to be even bigger! We promote biking more, driving less and a spirit of camaraderie. We want people to remember the fun they had growing up with a bike and that they can continue that feeling.

The proceeds raised by SDMBA (SDMBA) will benefit social riding opportunities in San Diego County and includes building capital towards a future progressive skills bike park!
