Hey... don't forget small victories like not dying at Deer Creek!Yuna and Mariko both slept all night. Not even once out of their beds even at bedtime. Winning. Such is my life that I'm reduced to small victories like these.
for me....sleeping at night has turned into a series of naps...I bet you a shiny quarter this afternoon contains a nap.
True, no new scrapes or bruises. I think the maximum riding pleasure to pain ratio on there is to go from the bottom to just above the wall, and then ride down and go home. Too much grinding for both of the top loops for this slow grinder.Hey... don't forget small victories like not dying at Deer Creek!
I hear you, but to climb all of that and not get the loop to the east is a cryin' shame.True, no new scrapes or bruises. You're also a fan of Red Mesa? (the one that cuts out to the right) I like that flowy descent and even bombing down the rocky doubletrack after the loop proper, but oh so much grinding on the way up...I hear you, but to climb all of that and not get the loop to the east is a cryin' shame.
Still sunny, early snow on the mountains in the distance has vanished so maybe the outside chance of a ride.Snow forecast for later at our altitude, I guess no riding today.

No the other East. You're also a fan of Red Mesa? (the one that cuts out to the right) I like that flowy descent and even bombing down the rocky doubletrack after the loop proper, but oh so much grinding on the way up...
Ah, I was backwards since that trail does go SW generally. I like Plymouth Mountain Trail as well, certainly better than Red Mesa. Still so much climbing straight up though. No the other East.
I was thinking Plymouth Creek loop.
Sorry. I'm wrong. I meant Plymouth Creek up to Plymouth Mtn loop.Ah, I was backwards since that trail does go SW generally. I like Plymouth Mountain Trail as well, certainly better than Red Mesa. Still so much climbing straight up though.
lol. I'd say for me it would be climb to just above the Red Mesa rock gardens. But... since I'm there, I may as well climb up and do the loop.True, no new scrapes or bruises. I'd suggest you do an Apex -> Dakota -> LOTB -> Falcon -> K/C -> S Valley -> Deer Creek -> reverse ride. I believe that would be right up your alley. I could join you once you got to Deer Creek. Also sounds like I should investigate Deer Creek riding soon.
Honaruru? Oops, racist.Mornin! It's bright and early here in Honolulu.
Time to get up and see some shit.
