Council to pay out over pothole cycling injury
A council has been ordered to pay £16,000 compensation to a girl who was impaled on the handlebars of her bike after it struck a pothole. Danielle Dickson, ten, suffered serious internal injuries after the accident in Plymouth in 2003.
I'm really sorry for the little girl, but what caught my attention more was the payout for a bike accident.
