Thanks guys for great, positive feedback from all of You! Too bad that many of my compatriots don't feel the same way as You guys.

Anyway, there is my custom 888 cartridge on photos as well :) It's a modified and revalved Travis TPC+ cart. I will post some pics of that thing too :D

er, what kinda fork is that?
2009 888 chassis - coil sprung with air assist + Manitou Travis TPC+ cartridge. Floating piston is removed and "stationary" piston is revalved, so... LESS SHIMZ. It looks kinda like a Charger damper without a bladder.

in a single wide, cooking meth...
A few constructive criticisms:

* No bottle cage(s)
* Not enduro specific
* No FSR sticker
* Front brake cable too long
* Ano orange stem doesn't match
* No internal gearbox

Given all those faux pas, I'd suggest this project was an epic fail. With that in mind, I will PM you my mailing address and take that abomination off your hands (and even go halvsies on the shipping). Hopefully fat jesus will look favorably on me this year for such a charitable act on my part.

Seriously, that is the win of the year.

So I took it for a spin last sunday... I don't want to sound cocky or something, but it works absolutely fantastic. Small and medium bumps are non existent; it soaks bums like crazy. Took some big hits too, and it handled them really, really well. I was a little affraid that the end of the leverage curve will be too linear, but it was a false alarm. Tons of grip. It was dead silent even with beaten up Shimano Sora rear der. Like @Sandwich said, CS could be a tad shorter but everything else is just awesome! Couldn't be happier!:D

EDIT: spelling

Actually, I'm working on some new dh and enduro frames (True Temper Supertherm tubing) now. I wanna start a small company here, so stay tuned :D

build us a well tuned single pivot...
That's the plan!

welding frames? cool!

I heard about True Temper tubes which seems not heavy? Would Columbus tubes work?
I have some doubts about Columbus XCR/Reynolds 9XX/853 tubes as they have super thin wall + they are scpeced with small dia. I'm really concerned about buckling of those super thin walled tubes. Have done some calculations and Supertherm (OX Platiunum/S3 - thicker BMX tubing) tubes are looking good. Wanted straight gauge KVA tubing, but "ain't nobody got cash for that" ;)

I guess I made a mistake. I'm sorry, english is my 2nd language.
How many bums a frame can roll over before exhibiting bucking, packed suspension and oil cavitation should be the standard by which a design is referenced.

Like my jedi is good for a solid 22 bums. My friends Glory is a good 19 bums. The status was only rated at 12 bums but did well in 2 bum space 3 bum space 2 bum arrangements where doubling the relative bum count can be done.
