You heard it here first!
We are SO STOKED to announce that the entire Dirt Passion crew will be on the course of Beech Mountain for the US Gravity Nationals on July 19-2. We will be hitting this from all sides with cameras in hand for both cinematography and photography, so expect to see a lot of coverage during and after the event.
Yeah, Gwin will likely be there and yeah, we will have some TWR footage, but we promise not to make it the Pro/WC show and are making a point to keep it "grassroots". My point, although with the number of riders going to be at the event, we can't promise there will be a shot of each person, BUT this is an equal opportunity edit.
We are expecting a TON of footage over 4 days = lots of processing time. The team will work to get the edit out ASAP, but please allow some time for this to come out post the event. Distribution to all things online is planned, so I am sure you there wont be a problem with you seeing pop up on something.

I Wannabe in a Movie! Dirt Passion at the U.S. Gravity Nationals
We told you all great things were in the works and were a-happenin. Well .. Who? What? Where? When?..... you might you ask?
Recall the familiar names of Sam Anderson, Chris Annesi, and Jacob Teer, aka Dirt Passion (www.dirtpassion.com), well they are taking on a new project in 4 weeks. Sponsored by Beech Mountain Resort and a few other Industry Sponsors, the new Media Superpower will be on the mountain side at the 2012 US Gravity National Championships at Beech Mountain on July 20 22!
Why? Just cause we can, plus it will just be a plain cool to see a professionally shot and produced edit of one of the biggest DH and DS races in the U.S. Not to mention, to get the SE DH scene some exposure with the aide of Jay Schultz to include a full press release, photos of the making of, and of course distribution to all the web sites and social media sites to include Facebook, Vimeo, Youtube, and all the mountain bike specific websites.
What do we need from the rider?
Just put on your best kit and colors, Polish that helmet, and if you see Sam, Chris, JT, Jay or Heither. SMILE pretty for the camera(s)! Through that whip! Rail that berm! Dig into and throw that Roost!
