We're taking a five day trip over Labor Day weekend. She is focused on sightseeing since she hasn't traveled that much, but we are still bringing our road and mt.bikes... so we need to be able to choose a place that at least offers some riding. Our top two choices are:

AZ: Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Sedona areas.

WY: Yellowstone (with a quick trip to Billings, Montana?)

Have you been to either/both? Any opinions or insights on which or what things to do and see?

TIA!

Of those on Labor Day I'd probably say WY - Yellowstone and don't forget Grand Teton NP.

Although you can't go wrong with Flag, Sedona, and the GC. I'd *highly* recommend if you go AZ to take the effort to go to both the South and North Rims. The North is spectacular and so different from the South.

And eat in the North Rim lodge. Spectacular and the food was good.

Both places will likely be mobbed on Labor Day.
