VDB is such a talented belgium rider, but I think the pressure became too much for him a few years ago hen they were touting him as thew eddy mercx.....
maybe a smaller team, will give him the right environment to just concentrate on riding his bike and the results will come.

Too bad Bjarne Riis (CSC) doesn't take him under his wing...that guy is the Phil Jackson/Joe Torre/Vince Lombardi of cycling team managers. Look what he did for Bobby Julich, not to mention several others. I thought I'd never see Bobby getting results ever again.
It's a shame that a guy with as much talent as VDB had so many expectations laid on him from the get-go. I'd like to see some kind of happy ending to his story eventually.
