just wondering what other ppl thought about bikes that are out of the ordinary. designed specifcally to be good at one field only, ie eats bumps but may have alot of pedal feedback and brake jack. by this i mean something like a 223 where there is loads of pedal feedback, or something like pdc dh-1 where it pedals soo well due to the chain idler. yet has the weird feeling of anti bob. if that makes any sence, each time you are on a power stroke, the suspension extends instead of compress how most bikes bob. would most of you ride a bike like this? the more mainstream bikes in the market today tend be allrounders, not much pedal feedback, not much brake jack. not much of a point or question but just a obversation, what do you guys think?

Balfa BB7 was a wierd bike. Super high pivot with a pulley. Strange front 'triangle.' Karpiels were wierd, QR's on 11"+ travel bikes? Old Rotecs were very long, which they were criticized for when they came out. I don't think it was such a bad design though. SC Super 8's and RM9's with crazy leverage ratios. Schwinn/Yeti pull shock frames. If you go further back in time there were the GT frames with the top link and shock connected directly behind the top of the seat tube.
