On the 19th of this month I'll have hit the 6 month mark for being unemployed. For the most part, it's been completely awesome, and a very appreciated vacation. Unfortunately, my vacation has come to an end. I accepted a job offer this afternoon. While it doesn't pay quite as much as I had hoped for, once I saw what the vacation, sick time, insurance and retirement package they were throwing in the offer, I would be dumb as hell to turn it down. If all goes according to plan, I will start being a productive member of society on the 27th. I'm sure going to miss being a (full-time) slacker.
