Im building up some new 36 hole hoops(Sun XL's on profiles). Ill prolly use DT's... but Im open to recommends. The bike will mostly be used for park and some DJ use.

Just go DT 14g spokes and DT brass nipples. Nice and reliable. Wheelsmith makes OK spokes too, just make sure to get something "real."

def get brass nips. I also usually build wheels with DT Comp 14/15 - a little pricier but a pretty good way to shave some weight and not sacrifice any strength. DT Champ 14s are my second favorite.

Actually, DB spokes do sacrifice a bit of strength because you can't use as high of tension.

That said, even on my DH bike I use 32 15/16g spokes with alloy nips for weight but if strength is your concern, 14g is the way to go.

How much tension do you run in your spokes? Most 15G should handle like 120kgf no problem.
