Did he move and start his new job? I can't remember when he was moving....haven't seen any posts in a while. Anyone snag some parts from him before the move?

I thought he would just attach a Bob Trailer or 2 and ride on down
On a side note: There is a guy that races a local cross series and he rides out on his commuter with a larger trailer in tow....the trailer has his easy up, race bike, extra wheels, and some other gear. It's pretty impressive to see. I'll have to take a pic this weekend

but thats like saying you don't have running water! Crazy!
I contend that the Internet is more vital than food, water, or shelter....with the Internet you can google and find those items!

The rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated!

Hi everyone from lovely Southern California! To sum up some answers:
Yes, I made it here ok, things are great, I'm settling in and VERY happy to be back in Cali. Though I did almost die near Mammoth driving down here, I ran into a pretty nasty snowstorm, even before the plows were out, and it was a very hectic hour's drive to make it though.

I do *not* have internet yet! In fact, as of this writing I haven't even called for my cable appointment yet. I keep meaning to, but somehow never get around to it. And to make matters worse: I lost my laptop charger (just bought a new one), NO ONE around my new apartment has an open WiFi signal. WTF? Losers.

I've been super-busy in my personal life, with both incredible (lady) and terrible (illness, not mine) stuff happening. I spent Christmas in Monterey visiting old haunts and sharing the experience, the New Year in San Diego, and that weekend in Tucson with family.

I have not yet bought a new bike, if you can believe that, but when the AR2 bikes get in next week I should have my new ride ready to go, 2 this month I think, and that will set me up for a little while.

I haven't really been riding much, work has kept me busy all day, and it's dark by the time I leave, and my weekends have been quality time with a lovely young lady.
I have been going through withdrawal not having a Bialetti espresso machine at my beck and call, and Starbucks is a very poor (and pricey) substitute as they seem to have no idea how to make a good espresso.

So I think that about sums it up, so far. It feels like forever since I've been on here talking with you folks, and I'll make a point to be on more often until I get my internet, at which point I'll probably be on 24x7...

Thanks for the concern guys, it's nice to know that if I was indeed at the bottom of a snowy chasm, not to be discovered until Spring at least, that some people noticed!

James
