Went today and looked at the Specialized Hardrock Sport(V-Brake). Also saw the Kona Fire Mountain (2007) Also very nice. I was just wondering what you guys think, it is a big decision for me cause i will be riding it a crap load and i dont want to make the wrong choice. Awesome thanks alot! Buying bike on friday slash payday!

when i bouth my first bike i went to the shops and test rode them to see which one fit me best, then i picked the top 2 and went to see which was the better deal/price for my $$$$$..........

but between the 2 you picked you cant go wrong

Both are good solid bikes. I would go with whichever felt better to you!

I agree. Hardtails seem to be more versatile than full suspsnsion bikes (which tend to be more specific).
