in the Seattle area...
I have a friend that wants a bike, she has no money. I asked what her budget was and she said $100. I took her to Target/Fred Meyers, etc and showed her some bikes and rode them around the store to demonstrate that those bikes are crap/don't shift ect...
I said a single speed would be best for her and she agreed.
I can probably get her to spend a little more money but I know she's loosing her job soon so she really doesn't have much.

that place has some cheap bikes.
Any suggestions for something like that locally?
thanks
