Thinking about making the change from a fully to a steel ht with a 6-7 inch fork for trail and fr duty.

I ride up and down rocky, steep east coast trails with drops thrown in. No urban or dj's.

i ride a kona scab with a psylo right now but i am looking into a pre 2003 super t or a z150. i ride east coast too and steel is more forgiving then a alu. ht. not to mention stronger material wise(not always design/construction wise). it will take some getting used to if you coming off a fully but it is a good choice if your going hardtail.

I agree. If you invest in a quality SC fork, you won't have to chopper it out with a DC. I'd suggest getting something like a Sherman or one of the new 2005 forks coming out from Manitou or even RS:eek: .
