I thought it was expected to take a while? Weren't there serious debates that said we needed to start this in February cuz it was supposed to take long enough that we wanted to limit our troops fighting in the desert during the dead of summer?

Wasnt the first Gulf war 43 days? We're not even close.

43 Days, with over 6 months of preperation and deployments....
but who's counting....and...we didnt finish the job, either. I expected this to be a timely campaign, and if done correctly, it should be. In the words of my favorite warrior, Bruce Lee...(hey, he doesnt have to be YOUR favorite..)
"Never underestimate your opponent, or you have lost before you ever engage in the contest." Iraq is quite capable of inflicting an ugly sting on us...we are very capable of neutralizing that sting IF we play our cards right.

Hang in there...Im resolved it'll take as long as we need it to.
