Hello everybody.

We have a couple of things to let you know about but first, on behalf of the entire Round and Round Crew, we want to say thanks for a great weekend in Winthrop for the Boneshaker! We had a blast and we hope you did too!

Our next stop on the Group Health WIM MTB Series is the Flying Horseshoe Festival in Cle Elum. Early registration deadline is Friday May 28th. The website has been updated with information for the event and you can get a sneak peek of the venue at flyinghorseshoeranch.com. They have a pool, so after the racing is all over on Saturday, our beloved announcer Michael and myself will be hosting the first ever WIM Belly Flop Contest. Judging will be based on loudness of slap and belly redness. Family event-no skinny-dipping!!

But before we get to Cle Elum, we need your help (again!). This weekend, Michael and company will be holding a work party in Chelan to get the courses ready for the Chelan Mountain Bike Festival. And when I say we need your help, we really, really need your help. The Forest Service in Chelan has given us the green light to build. This means a brand spankin’ new XC AND partially new DH in Chelan this year. So please become a part of your Group Health WIM MTB Series and show up to help. The fun begins at 10 AM this Saturday and Sunday at Uncle Tim’s in Echo Valley. Meet there or call/email Stacy for directions: henryfest@msn.com or 509-860-1207.

Also attached you will find a survey. We want to know what you think!! The crew at Round and Round is working to keep the WIM Series growing and just generally being something really cool to do. That is why we are doing things like building new courses in Chelan. The most important input comes from you, our friends and customers. Please fill out the survey and get it back to us. Mail it, fax it, email it, or send it by homing pigeon, whatever. We really want to hear from you. And if you don’t want to write and would rather verbalize your thoughts, give us a call or come talk to one of us at the races.

That’s all for now. For those of you who will be spending your Memorial Day Weekend with us at the Group Health 24 Hr Race, we’ll see you there. For everyone else, enjoy the 3-day weekend and we’ll see you in Cle Elum!
