Hey there everyone!
Just a quick update for the WIM Series...
Chelan MTB Festival Things are shaping up nicely with our new cross country course...Michael says the views and riding are nothing short of spectacular....actually he said it way different than that, but well avoid sharing that here! The downhill is coming right along as well...a new look and you will no longer have to push your bike up the hill. It is a nice short cruise to the top of the downhill from the drop off point. Downhill practice will start right around 2:30pm on Saturday. We'll have food and a beer & wine garden available all day Saturday and Sunday with live music Saturday afternoon. Speaking of the downhill, there are work parties scheduled for this weekend...meet at 10:30am both Saturday and Sunday at Uncle Tims cabins...at Echo Valley or call Stacy with any directional challenges...509-860-1207. And, as always, Stacy is looking for volunteers for the weekend, so let her know if you can help, her email is: henryfest@msn.com.
WIM Season Points As you may have noticed...and weve heard you, our Season points are not online as is our customary service to you. We have had multiple delays and difficulties getting them completed. Unfortunately, our former timing company is not able to do it for us and we have written our own program that has taken lots of time. Without going into further detail, we ARE working on them and hope to have them to you before Chelan. Thanks for your patience with this.
And dont forget.....this Friday at midnight is the cutoff for early registration online and the postmark deadline for mail-ins. Avoid late fees and let us know youre coming! Also, if you want to order a t-shirt, the artwork is on the front page of our website for the Chelan race...check it out and let us know ahead of time so we can order one for you.
Seeya real soon.
