a new additition to the a.t.v. clubs website has been set up for keeping ya'll informed about information pertaining to the trails.
http://www.windrockatv2.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=46
for trail info,
as far as what trails are open and ridable.
or what plans we have to make modifications to trails as we (brian, mark and myself) see fit.
http://www.windrockatv2.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=47
open discussion,
two other sections have been set up in the forum for posting of events (=48)
plans will be forming to get a fall event with a possible race date.
this is just in the "kicking around" stage at the moment, so don't hold your breath just yet.
and a tech section (=49)
to answer the often asked question about "which tires to run" etc...
this section may not play out as well as the similar sections in their forum about machinery.
but it's there if we ever need it.
from now on this will be the site for all up to date info.
feel free to register as this will be the best way to stay in touch with us.
the r.m. site will still be utilized as always, p.m.'s and online chatter will still be responded to
it has been an invaluable way to get the word out as to the goldmine we have available to us here.
keep in mind that this new site is viewed by far more than just mt.bikers.
it's a huge opportunity for us to be viewed by those who see us operate week in and week out but haven't a clue as to how serious we about our sport.
i've always been proud of how the downhill community has conducted themselves up here.
and i expect the same with the way ya'll conduct yourselves on their forum.
flaming, sly ways of spelling certain words etc...
will not be tolerated.
there's a handfull of moderators who do a very good job of controlling this.
