the speed limit is 15m.p.h. on the paved portion of the road.
and 5m.p.h. in the parking lot.
and even though we are constantly avoiding the clueless as we shuttle up and down.(the truck i was in yesterday came close to being hit, as were the other two trucks i'm sure.)
that doesn't give us any leeway to do the same.
we were pounded yesterday with complaints from the security officer and by a few p.m.'s i just read on the club site.
speeding and cutting corners were the two gripes.
we are anything but low-profile as we shuttle.
and we are now being watched like a hawk.
we've had our one and only warning about this.
and i'm passing it on to anyone who will be driving up there this year.
the word is that anyone caught speeding is subject to removal.
both the trucks owner and whoever the driver may be at the time.
i didn't ask if removal meant for the day, weekend, year or for good.
because right about then one of the trucks came down and off the mt. and into the lot at more than 15m.p.h.
it's hard for me to defend us when it's happening right in front of us while we're talking about it.
i'll always stick up for us when the complaints come in.
because i know that all three trucks were being driven in a manner that was far more responsible than 90% of the other traffic on that road.
so please just take it a liitle slower.
the small amount of extra time it may take isn't worth getting tossed out over.
besides we spend far more time screwin around in the parking lot.
it's not like we're ever all standing there ready to load up as soon as it arrives.
