Hey all, I need an inexpensive solution.

I have a wipperman SS that I broke last week, and I ended up pulling two links. The problem is I can't find the extra link I pulled off the chain. I was going to put it back on and add their master link to fill the gap. Now, since I can't find my extra link, what should I do? Should just put two masters on, or a extra SRAM PC99 link I have? I can't find anyone that has any extra links and I don't want to buy another SS. Any ideas? Any place I can get some extra links?

Do you know why the chain broke? I replace any chain damaged by chain suck or something else. I don't trust them after they've broken once. Thing is, most modern 9spd chains have minimal mushrooming on the pin ends so removing them and reusing is not wise. Creates a weak link. That's why Shimano has replacement pins and SRAM and Connex have the links.
