Friends of Wompatuck (FOW) in conjunction with Se Mass NEMBA will be hosting our final trail care (TC) day for 2010. We will be performing "heavier" trail work than normal to address two wet areas that have been historically problematic for all trail users. Attendees are recommended to wear long pants, bring water, gloves, and sturdy footwear. You may bring your own tools if you'd like but please keep track of them.
We will meet at 8:30am in the visitors center parking lot for coffee and plan to get to work at 9am. We will meet back in the visitors center lot after working for lunch provided by FOW & NEMBA.
If coming out and lending a hand wasn't enough motivation this TC day will be sponsored by REI who has generously offered up some sweet gear to raffle off to attendees. This day will also be part of the Trek Bicycles/NEMBA TC series; this means if you're a NEMBA member signing in on the NEMBA waiver will enter you into an end of year drawing for a very nice full suspension Trek. Last year 2 Se Mass NEMBA membahs won these bikes.
