Here's our new baby

Got to wait for the University Purchase Order to go through but this is her. 6x10 with rock guard, side vents, side door, spare tire, extra 6" of head room (storing bikes on the walls). Now I have to get the artwork all together for the sides, place our Park Tools order to outfit her, and design a way to haul as many road, DH and XC bikes as pissible along with our gear. Put that sucker and our huge custom team tent together and we are lookin pretty sweet!

Too bad I won't get to see her much for the next few weeks, the roadies are traveling for the next 4 weekends and taken her with them.

Good way to cram the bikes in is drill in quick release mounts to the non door side. Stagger them up and down about 6 inches, and put each one about a foot apart. You will have 9 bikes hanging, and then you can put the rest on the ground or wherever else.

Our idea is pretty similar, big thing is outfitting it to carry dh and road bikes, completely different sizes, need the mounting to take up minimal room too so we could possibly "rent" the trailer to other school clubs for their trips to make money with it.

good ol' culpep
road bikes on the inside and dh bikes on the roof if its strong enought to hold all the extra weight of the bikes, we got a shop that that is slightly larger then that but we use ours for a moving shop basically and store all the bikes in or on this huge van we use, and then we have mounts for 6 bikes on the roof of the trailer, and 8 on the van roof. fun stuff
:D

Eh... we aren't carrying road bikes and DH bikes the same weekend, its used by two parts of our team. This year the road team gets it for the next 4-5 weeks while they travel everywhere. After that we get it till October for all of our races in WA, ID, and BC.

yeah, they aint cheap.... but it was needed, its hard bringing a ton of college students to races, most dont have cars, let alone cars with racks. The roadies have been stuffing bikes in trunks with them hangin out the rear of the car the whole drive, and that wasnt even a full roster!
