Can anyone tell me what size the thread is, on a XT (or similar) axle?

and try on lots of nuts until you find the one that fits. Just remember which box it came out of.

Just for future reference, that is not the pitch. That signification tells us it's a metric thread, major diameter being 10mm. Pitch is the distance between peaks of a thread.

Edit: I believe the XT axle will be M10 x 1. 1 is the pitch (thread peaks are 1mm apart.)

Okay,.. I thought THAT was M10, as in 1.0mm. But yeah, there's 1mm from peak to peak.
