btw, does anybody know what size socket i should use on the skewers, i got close enough to get it tight enough to ride, but i can tell it's not the right size.

I don't know that bike off hand but...
15 mm socket for normal (10 mm I believe) axles.
19 mm socket for 14 mm axles.

Cool! I just picked up a 2000 Redline Triple X on a trade for a 1999 Z1 QR20 fork. Now I have to learn to ride a BMX.

It's a steep learning curve, but actually it's easier than learning to ride a mountain bike IMO... although if you get really into the tricks you're opening a whole new ball of wax

it's alot easier to learn, i can tell already, i can almost do a fakie(i think that's what it is, the thing where you go up a hill, come back down and pivot around?)

Where would one get this ball of wax you speak of? And how would one go about opening it?
