i have the kmc 420h chain(its actually a mx chain but sold for bmx use by 1660 bmx products but is exactly the same size as the 415h )
my question is can i run these type of chains with 1/8tooth profile chainrings(FSA five hole bmx chainring)?

A 3/16" chain will work with a 3/16" or 1/8" ring and freewheel.
With a 3/32" ring or freewheel, the chain swims back and forth a bit too much.

Vise-versa: a 3/32" chain cannot be used on a 1/8" or 3/16" ring or freewheel, the teeth are too dang thick, yo.
