That's not going to be the largest skatepark in Texas because I am designing the largest skatepark in Texas.
85,000 square feet that will be built in Leander which is northwest Austin.
20,000 sq ft of concrete street, 20,000 sq ft of concrete bowls, 30,000 sq ft of covered dirt jumps, 10,000 sq ft of conc/skatelite BMX Park course and a 5,000 sq ft vert ramp.
It's going to be the most rediculous place that's ever been built aside from that place in China.
I'll post pics soon.
A little more about the DJ part:
Lots of stuff is right.
You'll be able to hit the wallride or quarter when you come back from one end and take a whole new line all the way down and back. By then you should be pretty tired. I've got a lot of over-under jumps over pits so that should be cool. The hardest part of putting that much stuff in there was avoiding collisions. I've got all of my crossings so you either go over or under so you don't have to worry about running into people.
I'm pretty excited to get that built.
I'll be surveying it all in constantly to make sure evrythings where it's supposed to be. I've also got Chris Hallman to work out there on dirt when we start.
The 12' deck drop-in is going to be bad*** too.
