I don't have any steel or Ti road bikes though...

And Ire, I'm pretty sure that Scott is using a tube-to-tube wrap method. They miter the tubes super close, then wrap carbon around them to secure them to each other. It's a pretty cool method of manufacturing, not a lot of excess material, so it can be pretty light. Look's new Asian-made 555 is done the same way I believe.

My new roadie is 'generic' chromo and I gotta say, I'm not seeing as much difference between it and the Reynolds or True Temper bikes I've had.

As for me, TIG welded Reynolds 853 STEEL BEEEOTCH!

{But I'm looking at carbon bikes}

I have 3 steel road bikes. Working on 2 aluminum ones right now.
Won't ever catch me on a carbon bike...

I like my bikes built by my friends. None of my friends live in Wisconsin or Taiwan (0r Marblehead)
