The youtube embedding tag isn't working. I see the button has been removed also..

See, when I use the tags they just show up in the post..

I removed the custom tag because we implemented the automatic URL embedding. One less thing to track through upgrades or maintenance or whatever.

Is this the same for vimeo as well? And will pics still require the img tags?

Yes, it's the same with Vimeo. Any video embedding that works, now works with plain pasted URLs.

Nothing else - like images - have changed.

I wrote a new definition for the shortened YouTube links... three cheers for regular expressions!

YouTube modified how the title of the video gets fetched so I'll have to look into that, for now the videos are titled with "302 Found" - not sure why.
