Hottie in motion: After breaking her back practicing flips on her snowboard, this 25-year-old Australian took up the equally dangerous sport of professional mountain bike racing. “I guess you can say I fell into it,” laughs Niki, who’s hoping to race cross-country in Athens. “Most mountain bike racers are guys,” says Niki, who’s been knocked unconscious several times. “Sometimes when I take off my helmet, people can’t believe I’m a girl.”

Perfect 10: “My body may not be the most muscular in the sport,” says the former model, who now rides three hours a day, six days a week. “But I have a good power-to-weight ratio, so I’m not trying to get any bigger. It’s nice to be able to race at a high level and still be a girl.”

I agree, but personally i like women with alittle curves and shape.. thats too skinny and athletic for me :stosh:

"she may have some pounds more", "just her figure"?? she's barely anything beyond skin and bones! ok some muscle too, but figure? bleh, thats no figure.. you need some curves to have a figure, which IMO Niki does not have, by a mile..

I'd hit it. :evil: I dig April and Tara both, though. I'm on a never ending quest to smell Ms. Lawyer's seat, and I had almost accomplished it at Snowshoe. :D I did get a sticker though.

Gudex does appear a bit fragile looking, but I bet she'd plump up nice if she ate more than a translucent rice cake washed down with a diet water. You know- the way Elle McPherson, Portia de Rossi and Kate Fischer did in "Sirens". Either way, I wouldn't pass up the chance to try and shake the coconuts off that palm.

You got that backwards. She races mountain bikes for a living because she is so hot. Intense did not sign her for her results that is for sure.
I am not complaining about this or anything, just pointing out the truth.
So, basically somewhere there is a some hammerhead chick that looks like a female Wade Bootes with a moustache who does not have a ride and Niki does because of her looks. It happens all the time.

Well I agree, that is bull****. But never-the-less, she would rank about an 8 on a 1-10 scale if she didn't ride, but since she does ride, I have to give her a 10. It's hard to beat hott chicks on bikes! :drool:

true that, there are a few aussie female XC riders who stand a far better chance at the olympics but who are without factory rides just coz they don't have the sex factor.

hot chicks get jobs over ugly or fat (more qualified) chicks everywhere/all the time

Yeah, I know.
That is what I was saying.
Intense wants to sell bicycles, and they have a right to hire whoever they think will help sell them the most. And boobies sell, because they are great.

I would have to disagree. If she never won a major race then you can say she another "Anna Kornikova" and she is just a marketing tool. I don't think her fellow racers are going to hand her the national jersey just because she looks good in it. BTW, she has some very good race results.

I did some checking into and it seems my "source" who told me about her was full of it. I pointed her out at Mt. Snow and this dude went on and on about how she was signed for her looks blah blah blah.
So, I just checked her results and she seems to be finishing around 20th or so at the Nationals which is not bad at all.
So I take back what I said, I was speaking from the wrong end again.
The medicine does not seem to be working. :p
