I have an SDG seat (the kona one), it has a hole in it from my friend's brake lever from a shuttle trip but it's pretty comfy otherwise.

SDG makes a quality seat. I've used a few and loved them. I believe Acadian used an I-beam on his DHR, you may want to pm him. While I have no personal experience with the system, i've heard good things about it, and seems much easier than rails.

I had really good luck running an I-Fly C saddle this year. For the previous 3 years, I was destroying at least 2-3 saddles per season.
I've also had great luck with my I-Fly C and I-Beam. Granted I did break the nose off one of my saddles (but was still rideable) at Whistler after a nasty crash that sent my bike tumbling, it was one of the early proto saddles and SDG replaced it with a new one, which has been solid ever since.

I can't say that I was breaking 2-3 saddles per season, but I've popped the rails out of my saddles a few times....

I have a Kona Grand Prix and I liked it so much, I bought another one for my 4X bike. (both with rails, no I-beam)
My Kona saddle is still going strong after 2 years, there is a big difference in quality between this one and my previous Fi'zi:k saddles.

Im running a Freestyle on my Banshee Morphine, I may make this into my everything saddle, it just won't break.....I also have the FUNN splined post (pain in the ass)..... :sneaky: I really do like the SDG I beam system though, I would have gotten one if I could.
