The Patriots will win the super bowl again this year. Anyone see what they did to KC at Arrowhead last night?
I've gotta hand it to the Pats, but honestly, the win at St. Louis was the more impressive of their recent run. KC doesn't have the punch offensively without Priest in the lineup, Blaylock just isn't anywhere near as explosive as Priest. Blaylock did a good job in New Orleans, but then again, show me a back that hasn't. NE? Putting Troy Brown in as a nickel back in SL and actually have him contribute was probably the more impressive of the individual performances this year, behind Wes Welker imo.

All that being said, I'll agree with you and say that NE should still win the SB and it will be a true disappointment if they don't.

My Eagles will win the Super Bowl. That is all.
Dr. Jefe,

Do you have their cure for stopping the run? What about for establishing their running game? I would be extremely surprised if they could keep up with or even slow down a team like Indy.

I can not wait until Monday-

Apparently, I was being overly generous with my 16 - 13 prediction. 21 - 7 (which could easily have been much worse) made for a wonderful Thanksgiving with all the trimmings, including $hit-stuffed teddy bear. Julius Jones got screwed with that lame trophy; he'd have rather had a leg of Madden's octaturkey no doubt. Man did he have a coming-out party- all over that vaunted defense's back! Even the Cowboys' lazy offensive line broke off their collective feet in orsine asses!

I waggle my finger in the general direction of all doubters. The Cowboys are not on the way down. They will be a better team next year and still have a couple more surprises in store for this season. I am already craving 12/26 and Dallas' next opportunity to drub the hapless 4skins...at home this time. Gibbs will undoubtedly maintain more composure under duress than did Spurrier. Nothing was more amusing to watch than Steve Spurrier's whiny puss as it progressively twisted over four quarters of abuse. Gibbs' stoicism and endurance during punishment takes something away from Cowboys victories over Washington now, I'm sad to say.

Bingo!!!!!!! I'm not saying they are a Championship caliber team, because they are not, but with the players they have they should be a wildcard 10-6, 9-7 team. They have a lot of good players on that team, and I can never fault Al Davis for putting $ into his players. Coaching is another story but we wont go there.

The 9er's don't put any $ into the team so what do you expect, blame that on the Yorks.

Well, as I have been reading this thread, I wondered when I would see mention of my once mighty Raiders.

Being from Ohio, it is hard to get any info on them since they are not winning. Their web site gives no real info either. It seems as though the defense is non-existent. They seem to score enough points... but if the other team scores more............? Anyone have any insight as to where the problem lies, other than Norv Turner is a proven loser?

As a die-hard Raiders fan who bleeds silver and black, all I can say is... what the hell happened man!?!?

Bears = Own3d by Cowboys.

I am here to eat my crow.

We have the most inept offense and two quarterbacks I have ever seen, and the defense simply could not keep up after playing the whole game. Kudos to Julius Jones for exploiting our blitz-happy defensive coordinator and Vinny Testaverde for not getting too rattled when RW Mcquarters got his 2nd pick of the day.

Cowboys played inspired ball in the 4th quarter, and that's a testament to how good a coach Parcells really is. They may not be the team on the downward spiral, as some young talent is finally starting to shine down there.

Well, their defense has been a huge disappointment. I don't know whether it's a lack of talent, playmaking, consistency, or all the above. For one, the run defense is pretty bad and Woodson's play has left a lot to be desired. It seems like the Raiders are getting younger, but they still play like they're old, I don't get it either. It would've done the team a lot better to hire Coughlin rather than Turner. Coughlin may be a hardass and I'm sure the Giants players hate it, but with their record, the guy can flat-out coach. One more thing, leading the league in the number of penalties and yardage the last couple years has finally caught up to them, no longer is it just a cool stat.

hey burly, the bears must be ultra-desperate, having resorted to signing a 36 y/o QB who hasn't played since '01 (jeff george).
Dude, you just havent seen how bad our offense is becuase one QB is a giant douche, and the others a turd sandwich. We've scored 13 points on offense IN THE LAST THREE GAMES! And of that 13, 7 points and the only TD was a 50 yard run by the running back that the QB had nothing to do with. So basically in three games, the QBs have gotten two field goals  They're heinous, so as crazy as it sounds, the locker room cancer that is Jeff George is somehow going to be an upgrade.

God just hates me.

Its another year in the life of a Bills fan. They're doing ****ty you say, well then maybe they will at least get a good draft pick...o wait, we traded our first round draft pick for J.P. Losman so I guess there goes that plan. Well you could look forward to seeing Losman play and give him some time to develop...nope thats not gonna fly either because we still have bledsoe for the next couple of years and since he is better then Losman anyways I guess its the usual Drew sackfest. Don't get me wrong I love Bledsoe, but lets be serious Buffalo should never have gotten a pure pocket passer like him with thier ungodly horrible O line. So all in all another sub par year under the worthless Donahoe regime, and another year to let me wonder why I still love the bills when they obviously don't love me.

Hahhaha!

I watched a Buffalo game a couple weeks ago, and Losman came in to play because the Pats were whipping you all too bad, so Bledsoe after a few INTs just sat down. And man, did Losman look TERRIBLE. He fumbled once and threw an AWFUL int. Not looking to good there. The Bears would gladly take Bledsoe off your hands tho.

i got back from my ride late Sunday and discovered that the Hawks got schooled by Buffalo at home. They very well might be the first team in history to make the playoffs and be a .500 team.
crazy....

Go Sonics! :)

No, they wouldnt be the first in History. I think Tampa Bay and Detroit both did that in the early to mid 90s.
