Finally! Just made an order on a BoXXer World Cup 05.
I've searched for reviews of the WC but didn't find any.
So my question to you guys out there who owns one,
what's your opinion?

Not a big fan of the Boxxers. I believe that Rock Shox got kinda poor in quality in the past couple of years. But I now believe they are making a come back. The new boxxers look really sweet. IMO, I like em. And I guess if you ordered it, you will have to use it and give us a review.

It's a HC3 boxxer, It is just like any other HC3 boxxer from the last 3 or so years, except with more travel, ti springs and shinier. Rip it apart, clean and grease it and fill it with the right amount of quality suspension fluid and it will work excellently.

What's that you say? Proper tuning and maintenance will aid in excellent performance? :dead:

I've done a few runs on an '05 Boxxer WC. Seems a damn nice fork, very lightweight and works well. Give it some time to run in and it provides near stictionless performance. The integrate stem option is great - my mate is running a SIC bolt-on stem and it feels stiff and precise. You might have to fiddle with spring rates a little bit to get it just right though.

I just got a used boxxer (04) on my new used bike and it feels great. I bought it from ET and he said that he modified the compression curcuit somehow and it feels real nice, very progessive.

For the past 2 years I rode a 7" Dorado DH. Last november I changed to a 2005 Boxxer Team. I found it a little hard, then changed the springs. Now the thing is rocking. Better than the Dorado.

bottom line for boxxers IMHO:

Turn the rebound adjustment all the way slow, pump the fork, turn it all the way fast pump the fork...what's the diff?

Who the hell knows...Rockshox's dampners don't really do much, Answer's do a little more, at least mildy noticable. Step up to a Zoke or a Fox and you'll understand the meaning of dampener...at least their's can be controlled...

Nice and light the boxxer is, but not much more than a pogo stick IMHO

I boxxer tuned up correctly can be a very nice feeling fork. My 02 which I bought for cheap outpreforms many new forks. Im gonna step up to the 05 in a few weeks here, If its anything like the 02 ive been on ill be happy.
