I find bighits fit big. I am 6'5 and the large is perfect bordering on big (a little tall feeling at times)...A medium should be fine.

I'm 6" and a medium is just fine. Last year wheN i got the bike, i was 5'9... it was a bit to big for me, I had to drop the seat ALLL the way down, and still had like 1/4" off the ground w/ my tippy toes. This year I'm 6" and it's fine, I even raised the seat a bit.

6'1" and ride a medium. Had a large in the past and was waaaay too big/tall unless you like your bikes to feel all XCed out.

My wife is 5'8" and she rides a 2005 medium with a Super T and loves it. She says the size is spot on. She use to ride a small and complained about how small it was all the time. She does put the seat all the way forward and the stem all the way back.

I'm 5'8.5'' (175cm) and my medium feels big.. to big for my taste accutally, it was my first reall DH-rig and I didn't really know how I wanted the bike to feel when I bought it.

If I would buy an other bighit again it would be a small.. if I anloy could turn back time :mumble:

I'm 6-4 and the Large is perfect. The thing to think about is that the standover is the same for all sizes, and the difference between the small and large is like 3/4" in length. I'd opt for the med. if you're using it for freeride. If racing downhill, then go for the large. You'll fit on both fine.

Actually I am surprised how well it pedals with the Vanilla Rc with the compression cranked. I have the scoper post as well, and rode a steep fireroad climb the other day and it is a really good pedaller with that setup. I followed a friend on a new VPfree, and I saw less movement with my bighit.
