Here are some pics of the hill I play on. Part of the Black Mt Ridge in San Diego. Topographs show that it's 1000ft above sea level and drops too 100-120ft at the bottom All in less then 3/4 mile (roughly 45* slope decent):D

My house is on the street on the right side :D

Pic before dropping in :D

The single track continues on the back side and goes along the top of the ridge to the radio towers.

Pic of my 05' Trek Bruiser 1 with some upgrades

I've had ALOT of close calls on this hill. Most of it is loose rocks and only one good line and gravity is a bitc* if you lose control.

There is a switchback trail on the top that goes down the west side, but needs to be trimmed ALOT. I got down a few turns and I couldn't see the trail anymore.

I rode my Big Hit up and down there a few times, way back when...

There is nothing on that hill. Where is the dirt? Where are the stunts? No drops or jumps. Why would you climb that thing only to ride that rocky crap back down?

Ah... SoCal..

Some people like to huck and jump, some people like techical trails and challeges, some like both. Unfortunately I don't have logs and stunts to jump over when I live 6 miles from the beach. I have to drive 90 minutes to the mountains for those trails when this is 2 block from my door.
