To the current or past owners of these hubs...where do I find replacement springs so I can make my hub engage again?

Yo....you may be in luck. Call Synth Hoffman, mobile bike mechanic...I think he's still in Bellevue. He had a bunch of parts for the RR hubs. (I may regret telling you this as I have a RR hub myself).

(425) 241-4143 I think this number is still good....

That sucks, it dosn't engage at all? I've had mine since Sea Otter and have no problems besides the 2 or 3 normal axel tightenings. I got mine used too. I have heard of other people having issues with the hub though. Mines solid as rock and I hope it stays that way. If you find parts for yours please post where you found them. Good luck.

The hub is still in excellent shape. I just need 10 or so of those tiny springs that engage the hub...its a pretty simple problem to fix. Finding the right springs is the tough part.

I know Rob Sears, I will ask him if he has any of the springs you need next time I see him, which should be next weekend.

And you only need 3 springs (IIRC), you don't have to fill all those holes. I think going to your local hardware store and finding similar springs and cutting them down is the way to go. Good luck, I've never had a problem w/ mine!
