To the current or past owners of these hubs...where do I find replacement springs so I can make my hub engage again?

That sucks, it dosn't engage at all? I've had mine since Sea Otter and have no problems besides the 2 or 3 normal axel tightenings. I got mine used too. I have heard of other people having issues with the hub though. Mines solid as rock and I hope it stays that way. If you find parts for yours please post where you found them. Good luck.

The hub is still in excellent shape. I just need 10 or so of those tiny springs that engage the hub...its a pretty simple problem to fix. Finding the right springs is the tough part.
if you did not find the springs, take the springs from a lighter.... and cut the same size as you have!!

And you only need 3 springs (IIRC), you don't have to fill all those holes. I think going to your local hardware store and finding similar springs and cutting them down is the way to go. Good luck, I've never had a problem w/ mine!
