We just finished building one of the two frames we are taking to Whistler's Crankworx this weekend. It'll be a nice holiday and great place to debut the final production frames :D We'll need it, we've got another 48 frames to build and ship on monday

So for now...enjoy.

Cheers,

-Kyle.

Looking good! You guys did a great job. Do you have a Website? I would be interested in getting more information about your company...

its a swinger 6way 8,75 / 2,75"

i asked kyle about the WB and he said as pictured, it is right under 46" (116cm), with flat crowns or a boxxer im assuming that would get reduced to 115cm.
bb height is 14,5".

Is anyone else having trouble navigating the site? The link to the Freeride frame does not always highlight when I move the mouse over it. Very annoying.

Is that considered a single pivot?
There is a second link for the lower part of the swingarm, you can't see it in these pics but if you look on the website you can. It's a floating rear triangle design (or whatever you want to call it).

I checked the website. Way better pics of the suspension. It looks like a VP almost.

you could say (and piss kyle off a little bit) its very similar to a cortina, or a disco volante. think of it as a disco that has the lower shock mount on the rear end instead of the upper link or as a cortina without the small linkage.

the very neato thing about this however is that the pivots are totally different to what the cortinas and jan did, ill let kyle explain but i foresee it to be a lot stiffer, better for alignment and also less maintenance.

the lower shock mount is on the rear end upright, thats one solid piece that houses both pivots and the shock mount, solving problems those two designs had with alignment and the upright cracking.

Looks really sweet.

And Kanter, just to stir the pot, it is virtual pivot. It's just not VPP.

What a beautiful bike cant wait to get our frames in hopefully next week. We'll run them as an option to Mang our team rider depending on the course. Oh and I want one for myself too....

Damn that's good! If you could lower that BB just 1/4" that'd be my next race bike for sure. ****ing dialled! Just like my PDC ht frame actually...

It still comes with a 1.5" headtube right?

That's in the running for the next frame I'll get. In the running also are the VP Free and the Demo 8.

What's the frame weight on this sucka? Will it take a front mech up front? Will it fit a 6ft 2" rider who might like to pedal it back up the hill?

yes on the 1.5. frame weight was supposed to be around 10lbs; no confirmation on the finished version, though. the cockpit seemed perfect for my 6'-1" length. the frame is super low, but there's enough seatube to (i think) get adequate climbing extension with a long post. the slack seat-tube angle might stretch things out beyond an ideal climbing position, but should be good enough for the minimal climbing i do (fromme). dunno about the fd.
