I've asked about this at my home forum (farkin.net - thanks guys) but not enough people have tried this fancy new stuff here in Australia to be able to answer my question conclusively.
I was hoping I might find some answers here.
I am after a new hub for the rear of my DH bike and it's down to these two hadley hubs. In 108pt form of course.
135x10mm Through-Axle
135x10mm Ti-bolt (costs us$20 more)
Which of these is lighter? I'd be stoked if someone had the exact weight on both hubs including hardware. But it'd be good enough for me to just hear which is lighter, if someone knows for sure.
I'm pretty sure the TA hub comes with a 10mm bolt-up skewer, is this aluminium or steel?
Also - are there any benefits to the Ti-bolt setup over the TA setup, because i'm really not seeing any - would it be stiffer at all?
Any info much appreciated,
