Im in debt up to my eye balls.

JUST LIKE THE ****ING COMMERCIAL!!!

So today i was cursed...

I got thrown a free k2 tirade frame... wich means i have to build it up..

So today i blew the following cash.

226 for Ti spring for my DHR
126 for a Hugi Hub for my DHR
220 for a new rear wheel and front wheel build for the tirade

And now i need to blow 200 tomorrow for a used sherman fork.

And then there is the cost of shipping my bikes back to school. :stosh: It is going to be so hard to put my DHR in a cardboard box...

Thats 800 total :stosh: And ive only covered 1300 outta 1600 for my DHR that i bought last month.

But it could be worse, i could have a car.

Where are you getting the money to pay for things if you don't have any?

Well i work 40 hrs a week. But i only get 2 more checks before i go back to school. I will clear it all, but it leaves me with no money for a car or anything else. Wich means some one is going to be working at stop and shop his junior year. :nopity:

Seriously! After blowing 5 on crappy food, all you are is less hungry.
You spend 600 on a fork, you have a sweet fork that will provide hours of fun.

-My visa is sitting at $7600 (my limit is 7500).
-I have to pay for my car to be registered in the province of BC (a few hundred $$$)
-I need a bunch of new parts for my bike(s)
-I have to pay rent and bills
-I can barely buy groceries

On top of that, I'll have to owe a couple thousand to the federal government. I have no savings or anything like that!

Join the club, buddy!

I recently sold a new bike, which sucks but now I'm not starving between paychecks while trying to save for a motorcycle.

It was either keep the bike, and eat spam and never go out with friends for months or, ride the bikes I already have, sacrifice one, use the cash to kick start my savings and enjoy life.

It sucked for about a week. But in reality, I couldn't really justify moaning and groaning about having no money while owning a really expensive bike that I didn't have much time to ride, since I already had a bunch of really expensive bikes.

I spent all my extra cash building a dh bike over the winter (got tired of bowwering one at the race to compete) finaly finished it June 1st. Went for a test ride June 7 slipped a pedal and now I have a $15,000 ankle which cost me about $2500. Now I might have to sell the bike to pay the doc bills and I did't even get to do a race on it.
What a $%^&* summer.
If you want bills get married and have a couple kids.
Ya I know WAAAAAAHHH

I think Craw is on the right track. It's way more funner to ride beat bikes every day, hang out with friends at night and not have to pinch pennies to eat or buy gas (to get to bike destinations).

This thread was a good reality check for me, as I've recently built two new mountain bikes, bought a truck, and am thinking of getting a new road bike. Now I've decided that my current road bike is just fine, and might even sell one of my mountain bikes.

I know => :nopity:

But living with the stress of endless bills and debt is no way to go through life. Happiness is living within your means!
