I am in the market for a new FR bike, I really like bullit's and a medium fits me good, so i was thinking of an 03/04 Medium Bullit with 888's. Any ideas on if this is a good combo? If you know of one for sale let me know, i want it! Thanks, Jake

Any idea on what the price range of an 03/04 bullit with 888's would be, i know depending on what componentry it has it will vary but any ideas?

i just bought a 888 off of ebay for 412.77$. Ive seen bullit's between 400-600$ for the frame. Add components and go! As far as how would it ride, you wont know until you try it! Everybody likes things differently, I ride afoes fly with a 888rc and i love it! Some people complain that its not DH enough to race DH on but it takes it the way i want to. Same thing with the 888 and flat crowns. Most people like the flat crowns but me being 6'3 i like the normal crowns just fine!

I have that exact combo. Its a good combo for everything!

Although, you may want to wait for the 06 888RC, it has better low freq dampening.

Consider a Santa Cruz HECKLER also.
If you are going to work up to bigger drops 6' & over go with the BULLET for sure ...
For 4x/Jumping & drops probably 6' or smaller go Heckler-it's lighter but very beefy.
I have had 2 Bullets & a V-10.The Heckler will feel more livlier & flickable for sure..
I would say you would love the 5.6" of travel on a Heckler with a 6" fork....
