What frame!

For cheap but effective, I would suggest either the BANSHEE SCREAM, or the DEVINCI OLLIE.

If you could spring for the price, I highly suggest the NICOLAI M-PIRE ST(no frt. der.), HELIUS ST, UFO ST(no frt. der.), or a Brooklyn Machine Works (race or mini)LINK, specified to be made w/heavy gague tubing for the Hucks to flat.

Also, if you are a fan of Turner, check out the new HighLine, which is practically a copy of the Devinci Ollie.

Another company that's not too well known here in the US., is KeeWee, and I have ridden a few of their bikes, and was super impressed by the strength/stiffnes, and would suggest the CromoZone or CromoToze, depnding on the travle you want. Both of these would be highly immune to drops-to-flat, but beware, they're very heavy frames(their H-tail built w/888RC, 24's, profile's weighed about 45 Lbs.), but also, both are frt. der. compatable. Check 'em out at: http://www.keewee.co.nz

Hey Guys!

Yes, our frames are quite expensive, as we build them with the highest quality components and manufacturing available. However, we do have revised pricing for 2006. It was just finalized last week and is in the process of being sent out to our dealers who we are currently in the process of setting up. We'll be updating the website shortly (a quick fix update) and have a new (much extended) website in the works for early 2006.

The V-tach frame's MSRP will be $2995 USD with the Fox DHX 5.0 coil shock. There will be options for the Marzocchi Roco as well as the Progressive 5th Element shock.

The Delirium T all mountain frame's MSRP will be $2495 with the Fox 5.0 DHX Air shock. There will be options for a 135 x 12mm thru axle rear end, as well as the Fox DHX 5.0 coil shock for the free rider in all of us and the Marzocchi Roco (!) for those of you looking to build up something slightly lighter weight and seriously flickable.

Customer reviews of the V-tach frame can be found here:

Cheers!

Like I said.... if I had the money.

Well, they are super stiff with the 4x4 linkage. The seatangle is awesome. When you put the seat up, it goes back so you can stretch out and ride uphill. When you put the seat down, it goes forward and out of the way for DH/FR. It has a long straight seat tube. The CNC is top notch. Its made by Noel in Vancouver, actually Burnaby. Its 4 bar linkage. Looks awesome. Would be sweet in white with a white 888. I have a PDF file will pics of all the colors they offer if you would like to see. PM me your email.

The price is a bit steep. I agree. Like I said, if I had the money.

Yeah, no local # and cannot find a price. I had my bullit not to far off the specs. Had a 14.75bb, 67" wb, 67 head angle and thats with a 26" not a 24.
Loved it and it handled well, I like the design and would be willing to give it a look.
PM me a # to the man and I'll call. I looked around and it looks good.
The difference in those numbers is HUGE.

Can't beat the quality of Sinister's bikes. If you want a shorter travel bike (6"), look at the Splinter MX. They are works of art.

I really like the Knolly frames, too. (In theory, never ridden one.) If I had more $$$ I'd look into their shorter travel bike.

As far as Karpiel's are concerned, I own a disco, and I like it more than anything I've ever ridden. I've only bounced around on an Armageddon, but the feel was similar, plus the added adjustability would be a plus. The warranty thing can be a bit of an issue, however.

Gotta throw a few words in for the morewood boys. We came from Turners to Morewood and I won't be going back. Check out www.northeastsovereign.com for a few reviews and thougts on the frames. Besides that, the employees are the best people in the industry. Call intense and ask to speak to Jeff or Maxxis and ask for Monk and see if you get through....Richard and Tom are always there when you need them.

The single pivot vs. linkage vs. vpp is a lot of hype. With shock technology as good as it is today I don't think it's as important.
:thumb: Indeed. It comes down to style and needs.

I'll post pics on next monday when it's built. It'll be here friday and I'l build it this coming weekend.
I've wanted the karpiel for over a year now and finding them is next to impossible. I an have this thing replicated if I need to, I only work in the ano business so I have contacts in all arenas of fabrication and a 5 axis machine. :D
