victors the shiz. show of hands is the best ever, future man is the biggest tool on earth, he tryed to pick up on my girlfriend, she told him he dressed like a woman, got pretty ugly, bela wouldn't stop laughing at him, I think they still laugh at him for that and it was in like 1996. I can't believe future and vic are brothers.

You ugys that liked it should pick up that whole dvd. great show by the flecktones done in like 02 i believe, just awesome awesome video. and yeah he does wear cycling jerseys, he looks pretty much like a tool on stage but thats okay when you're one of the most impressive stringed instrument players

I was gonna respond to this by qualifying the original posters statement into the best "still living" bass player. And at that, its probably arguable.

Jaco was amazing... Why is that such talent and torment are co-existant?

Bill Sheehan is another to be classed as 'world class'. He's even a home town boy, used to have a little band called Talas here in Buffalo.
I have done monitors for Mr. Sheehan many times, and he is a consumate professional.

vic is deffinitely the man. saw his last two shows in townand will see the next. you know that that was almost all improvised exept amazing grace, which he most likly learned in 5th grade on the piano and that was the first time he's played it on bass.

bass players that play stuff that require alot of talent (read: speed and accuracy) need to have the bass higher up to allow for better and more precise access to the fretboard.......stuff like victor wooten and other jazz bass players.....the clash does not fit under said category
