My rommate and I were talking about most spectator friendly cycling discipline, and starting with the most interesting I went with 4X, BMX, DH, Road, XC, Track. What do you think?
What is the most spectator friendly cycling discipline?

Velodrome
BMX, 4X and Track(maybe crits if it is open enough to see) are the most spectator friendly. DH is a little bit better than road and XC -- the whole standing in place for hours and watching somebody whiz by every once in a while sucks.

I think 4x would be the best to watch. Decent jumping compared to bmx where its all about manualing through the whole course. Plus where you are standing you will see a lot more of a course compared to xc or dh.
Short Track Cross Country is actually pretty damn cool to watch, if the track is set up well.

Trials is pretty cool too...
If we are talking about in-person, I would say 4x is the coolest to watch. otherwise I like watching DH vids.
Watching a race on a well built slalom course is the most exciting I have ever seen. Watching 4x is always like watching follow the monkey.
I knew I would forget somthing...... mods, wanna add Trials?
