well im in the market for getting a full suspension bike that i can toss around, thats quick and agile, and decent at pedaling. the bike is basically going to be ridden at lift access bike parks like whistler, panorama ...ect.. up here in canada. so basically i want a bike that can hadle alot of different types of riding, wether it be DH runs, freeride stuff, dirt jumping abit, north shore, and some pedaling. Ive been looking at the sinister splinter MX and the specialized SX trail, but i would rather build the bike up from scratch, so what are some other frame options i should look into aswell as parts that you would recomend for the build. i want to spend under $4200 american on the complete bike and i will ebay parts in order to meat this quota.

so ya thanks alot for your guy's help in advance

the little orange mountain cycle from interbike would be my number one choice. with a fox 36 air up front, fox dhx air out back. number 2 would be something with a bb pivot so it could be single speed? that would be pretty cool.

Yeti ASX!! I love mine and it has performed flawlessly as a bike park bike and for some trail riding that requires pedaling. Ive had a single and dual crown fork on it and its really easy to throw around. I would consider the ASX frame as an option for your build.

prophet mx is a good fit
also gemni, kona stinky, SC vpfree, rocky mtn switch, IH 7.7, trek 77, specialized bighit or sx trail, transition dirt bag, on and on and on. every compainy and it's brother makes one of these bikes, you got an endless list to pick from.
i picked the gemni and if i had to do it all over again that's still what i'ld go for.

If my sunday is anything to go by, the 7point would be an awsome choice.

Plus another vote for the SX trail, that bike is a little ripper thats awsome for the type of riding you want to be doing. Put a Van 36 on it and she'll be tops.

I also really like the look of the bottlerocket

Id be putting Fox 36s on there Talas or Van depending on whether you want to adjust the travel at all. Youre definately spoilt for choice atm

What kind of dealer are they?
sportcheck are mass market general sport store, that carry your avg low to mid quality sport gear. This includes low end bikes which are usually from the iron horse range. They dont carry any high end bike stuff but since they have exclusive rights to iron horse you have to order through them any higher end stuff.

I HATE my buddie's 7point5. It feels like a slug. My Demo 8 is soooooo much more lively compared to it. The SX Trail is awesome feeling. Super responsive and stable at the same time. I want....

YES!!! Ignore everyone else, get a Bottlerocket !!!!!!!!!
+2 - biggest reason, I am sick of seeing variations of the demo and all things specialized and norco. Its good to see some different companies. :D Thats and CS at transition is out of this world.

I'll put in another vote for the prophet MX. Bike parks can't put in mega-hucks, and having a light bike will let you ride all day without killing yourself. I have the 4x frame and it has great geometry in addition to being light for how strong it is.

This bike is not going to be produced, dont consider it at this point. You may see it in the future though.

6.6 has a really steep HA I would go with the turner RFX the SX trail or the Kona Stinky line all great for your biking needs, and yes i have ridden everyone of these bikes. I can't really talk about the splinter, but from my one experience on a trail with one it felt really sluggish and heavy, not the maneuverable in the air at all.

The RFX is a big hit trail bike. It is not intended for FR. The kona stinky is heavy and doesn't pedal that well.

And you obviously haven't ridden a splinter if you thought it was sluggish. Those things pedal and accelerate amazingly and are extremely fast and can easily be thrown around.

Basically the point of my post is that the 4 red dots under your name mean that your advice sucks.

Santa Cruz Blur 4x if you are pretty advanced in your riding, otherwise a NOMAD! The Nomad is basically a VPP Bullitt, even though everyone builds them up for XC, (cuz they pedal well and don't weigh much) they are pretty much the bike you want. They've got a full seat post, and are light and strong. I've never seen one break, and I have seen them get RALLIED. Kirt Voreis rides one for bikeparks and light FR. A small or medium Nomad with a decent 6 inch fork and some burly parts and shorter stem would rip. The Blur 4x is a bit more nimble, so if you like to really toss your bike around, go for that option.

The Trek Session series is really nice, the Enduro SX Trail is really fun, an Ellsworth Moment or Rogue would be nice, a Turner Rail or Six Pack would kill it, an Orange Patriot or a Morewood would work, or a Prophet would also be nice. It's up to you, go ride them bikes!
